The Fang Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Chinese or Chinese American students residing in Hampton Roads (including the Peninsula and Gloucester County) to support their post-secondary education at a four-year college or university. Each recipient will be granted a $2000 scholarship.
As the largest and most prestigious scholarship within the Hampton Roads Chinese American community, the Fang Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award and will not be renewed. Previous recipients are ineligible to reapply. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, as well as outstanding potential in leadership and community citizenship. This scholarship is merit-based, and financial need is not considered.
